Objective: You will be researching a winter holiday celebration and how it is celebrated in a given location (city, state, country, etc.). You will create a presentation using Google Drive to share the information you find. You will present your presentation to your 8th grade tech classmates sometime before winter break. For example, how is New’s Years celebrated in New York?

Project Description:
- Select a winter holiday celebration. Examples include Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, St. Lucia’s Day, New Year’s, etc.
- Select a country, state, providence, city, etc. to research. Research the holiday/ winter celebration and determine how it is celebrated in the location you choose.
- Sign up for your topic using this Google Document.
- You will need to find at least 4 images (photos, clip art, etc.) to include in your presentation. These must be specifically related to the holiday/winter celebration you chose.
- You must have at least 6 facts about the holiday/winter celebration you chose and how it is celebrated in the location you chose.
- You will need to create speaker notes (View Menu - Show Speaker Notes) that contain your key facts; in addition to including them in your presentation.
- You will share your final presentation with Mrs. Clark-Pohlod using her email address, angela.clarkpohlod@laingsburg.k12.mi.us. You will also add your presentation to your Weebly website for grading and presentation purposes.
